When I was a little girl, my grandfather was my favorite person in the whole world. If he was still alive today, he still would be. I lost my papa to kidney failure about a decade ago when I was 12 years old. To this day, I can still remember what was going on when I heard the news.

''Ancient'' Chapter Three
I woke up, feeling very dizzy, disoriented, and cold. Whatever had happened, had happened in such a rush that it was slowly becoming a blur in my mind. At least I was alive and still knew who I was. The one thing I didn’t know…were my surroundings. I knew that I was in a building of some sort, but I had never seen architecture like this before.
